1. **Cleaning:** After each use, clean your brushes with The Cozzette Aromatherapy Brush Cleaner or Castile Soap, if you’re working with formulas that dry and become immovable its essential to use a brush cleaner like Aromatherapy Brush Cleaner this will breakdown any makeup formula available on the market and kill 99% of germs.
Spray Method: 90% of the time – simply spray a paper towel with Aromatherapy Brush Cleaner and gently swirl the brush fibers in the saturated part of the towel. then move to a clean dry section of the towel to release color from the fibers. Repeat this process until color pigment is clear. Lay flat to dry.
Dip Method: 10% of the time – If you are using immoveable formulas that dry in the fibers you should use a secondary dish to house the brush cleaner and dip the fibers in the liquid without swirling to prevent the pigment from falling in the liquid, then move to the paper towel to remove the color pigment. Repeat the quick dip until the color disappears on the towel.
Note: because of the ultra fine diameter size of the nano fibers you should remove as much of the liquid as possible to ensure a speedy dry time. For larger brushes use the “shake method” away from your eyes to avoid eye contact with liquid.

2. **Drying:** Once cleaned, shake out any excess liquid from the fibers prior to laying the brushes down to dry. Not to worry if you do bend synthetic fibers there is an easy fix, simply boil water and dip your brush fibers in the brush for 5 seconds. Wait a few minutes to cool and shake out the excess water and lay out to dry as usual.
